This company STONEBRIDGE Insurance Co refuse th honor my claim to Replace a MOLDED window

I bought a house in 2016 and in 2020 one of the window in the house was visually identified with fungi, molded window. I alerted this insurance company of this condition, however they refused to honor the claim and I had to pay $5370.00 out of pocket to replace this window. This company also went ahead and increased the premium from $2388.00 to $2688.00 in one year. This action encapsulated a lack of confidence, integrity, and fueled incompetence on the claim handlers associated with this company. This is a sustained act of deception exodus by this company.

brought my insurance policy in 2006 from stonebidge insurance. Transamerica brought them a few years back, from stonebidge insurance. They refuse to honor my claim. since June of 2018. Sad Sad

1/05/019...I called and asked for a claim form and told the Man my Husband passed away. He asked his policy number..looked it up...asked me who I was to him and said No one is a benificary on his policy. Not true. I have the policy and my name is on thete as his Spouse! He wad very rude and I havent received anything from them.

Accidental death policy

My husband's premiums were paid for years. When he died from injuries sustained in a car wreck (even though the medical examiner concurred that he died as a result of these injuries CAUSED by the wreck), I was told that the policy would NOT pay because "it took him too long to die" and that after a year, it was considered "a sickness". Knowing that, their customer service had me track down all of the info from the accident, telling me that they would consider the claim - all the time knowing that they were going to deny the policy. After taking care of a person with a brain injury for almost 5 years AND losing everything we worked for (the girl that hit him had no insurance), the nonpayment of this policy was DEVASTATING.

Preferred solution: Would like to see more transparency. Had no idea they wouldn't pay and their customer service said they would absolutely consider it, knowing the clause to refuse payment was there.

I been trying to contact their claims dept but 2 no avail! Surprise!! Apparently they on training for 2 days and no cover. What reputable company would not have Skelton cover. Good at taking my monthly payment. ***

They won't pay out and they lie

had this insurance 5 or 7 years ,when husband shot himself suicide and died, they wouldn't pay out at all, I have read after 2 years of having insurance ,they are to pay out on suicide . if this is true they owe me some money!! would be nice to have more input on this, many people told me they should have paid the claim , I hate when companies lie and they lie alot not just them but other insurance companies too , any info to help me would be nice debrwilder0907@***.com

Dodgy company

What a Joke! Stonebridge incompetent.com. The first time I contacted them to report an incident, send me an email to an American insurance company(life and health)! After I emailed the 'US branch' they completely denied having anything to do with Stonebridge UK!! Noone wants to know, let alone payout! Report them, no point, they are already under investigation but still operational!! What a Joke! Stonebridge incompetent.com. BANK OF AMERICA CHARGING FOR STONEBRIDGE iNSURANCE

B of A is charging $7.95 monthly for #SB *INSURANCE. I have NO idea who that insurance company is or what insurance I could have ever had with them. Because of credit problems I have not made any charges to the B of A credit card account over the past five years. B of A has been fairly helpfull in providing information but only after they referred me to someone on the mainland, California, as opposed to initially sluffing my call off to a not intelligible Philipino. I am continuing to investigate where this charge came from and requesting reimbursement for the unapproved charge.

Stonebridge renigged on the contract that was signed

June of 2007 Stonebridge sent me an advertisement in the mail to purchase life insurance since I was a preferred J.C Penney Cardholder. I accepted the offer and insured my father in a term life policy in coverage for $20,000. I paid premiums on time and never was late. In July of 2010 stonebridge intentionally and wrongfully terminated the policy. after I sent the payment to cover the premiums for 4 months I received a lapse letter from stonebridge. This lapse letter came 4 months late claiming that the payment was not received within the 31 day grace period. So, i reinstated the policy without hesitation. payments and bills transpired. After I lost my father they said my father called them and took out a whole life policy for $11 000. they said it was a telephone recorded application. I have no hardcopy to this policy. they also said since the policy only been enforced for less than 2 years they only go pay out $1,500. I am still fighting them for the contract that was signed, and not the telephone recorded application they threw together.

Stonebridge Life Insurance Complaint, JC Penney Gift Card not mailed. Plano TX

Stonebridge Life Insurance Complaint, JC Penney Gift Card Prize promised and never mailed, Instant Win Prize Claim not sent. I received a Instant Win Prize Claim Form from Stonebridge Life Insurance that if I call the 800 ph, I would receive a JC Penney Gift Card from $5 - $500. I called in to do the survey and they tried to sell my Stonebridge Life Insurance. In 7 days I did not receive the so called $5 JC Penney Gift Card they said I won, but instead a Claim Form with a letter from Ed Walker to mail in the Stonebridge Life Insurance SASE. I mailed it in. The Claim Form said I would receive my $5 JC Penney Gift Card in 2-3 weeks. After 8 weeks, I had not received my $5 JC Penney Gift Card from Stonebridge Life. I called the 800 number, the Stonebridge Rep said it can take 6 weeks. I said its been 8 weeks and have not received it. He said he would take my name, address, ph, and it would be mailed in 2-3 days. I never received it. I called back week after week, and Stonebridge Life never sent the JC Pennney Gift Card. I search Stonebridge Life Insurance Complaints, apparently those that buy Stonebridge Life Insurance and paid for it for years, and the insured died and they sent in the Death Certificate to receive the Stonebridge Life Insurance, never received any payout. They were totally ignored. I also saw other complaints that others did not receive their JC Penney Gift card either, or Stonebridge Life Insurance charged their credit card monthly, and they called into cancel, and it was never cancelled. Do not buy from Stonebridge Life Insurance, it is a scam. Do not shop at JC Penney's as they are a scam as never mailing out promised gift cards. If you have a problem, call Ed Walker at Stonebridge Life Insurance at 972-881-****, ask for Ed to be transferred to him. Ed Walker, Stonebridge Life Insurance in Plano Texas has still not mailed my gift card. If you have been scammed by Stonebridge Life Insurance, JC Penney, Ed Walker, etc then please post your Complaint here and other Complaints sites to warn others. Thanks.

Insured without my knowledge

Received a bill in the mail for a Stonebridge life insurance premeium that I knew nothing about. Upon research, I learned that the ex-wife of my fiance' initiated the policy and put herself as the beneficiary. How can a female open a policy on a male that she claims to be her husband without his permission. It seems as though she may have called in the policy and had it sent to our address for payment. Needless to say, the policy was canceled. It seems as though anyone can get life insurance on anybody with Stonebridge life insurance. That's sad to say the least and it tells alot about the credibility of this company.
